THE FOUNDER
I grew up in the open-air markets of Lagos, learning African wax print at my mother's side. Years later, in a city with no quilting shop and no cutting mat to be found, I made my first quilt from the fabric I loved — and discovered a whole world of quilters longing to know this cloth the way I did.
Quilt Africa grew from that. Not just a place to find beautiful fabric, but a way of working with it — reading the cloth before you cut, and making something lasting.
